Charleston Waterkeeper Receives First Citizen Tip
0 Comment
Cyrus Buffum, the Charleston Waterkeeper, got a phone call on Sunday from an observant citizen calling in to report some suspicious activity. The individual reported that there was a pipe discharging black colored water into the Cooper River. We drove out to the alleged discharge site to document the report and take water samples. We are in the midst of acting on the information found at the site and will make sure to update you on all the specifics as soon as we can. Remember, we all have the responsibility to take care of our waterways. They are ours to enjoy, and they are ours to protect.
