HP: Why do you choose to support Charleston Waterkeeper?

AR: I choose to support Charleston Waterkeeper because health of the water we all use here in Charleston for fishing or swimming is super important. Between microplastics and bacteria it’s important to keep our waterways clean so we can all enjoy them.

HP: What is your favorite way to enjoy clean water?

AR: My favorite way to enjoy the water is boating around and looking for shark teeth.

HP: What is your favorite waterway in Charleston?

AR: My favorite waterway is Hobcaw Creek where I grew up learning to love the water.

HP: Tell us about what you have been working on or a recent project

AR: Working with SCDNR SCORE, I have been working on implementing alternative substrate oyster reefs with volunteers in the Charleston area.

HP: Tell us something interesting about yourself that we might not know

AR: My wife and I are expecting our first child in February!
