HP: Why do you choose to support Charleston Waterkeeper?

GK: Supporting Charleston Waterkeeper was an immediate action that I took when I moved down to the low country. Finding and connecting to the mission that Waterkeeper effectively puts into action and the roots that they have in and for their community is really what brought me to this organization. I support Waterkeeper because of the longevity they provide for the protection of our waterways for generations to come.

HP: What is your favorite way to enjoy clean water?

GK: My favorite way to enjoy clean water is watching the sunrise and sunset along the coastline!

HP: What is your favorite waterway in Charleston?

GK: My favorite waterway in Charleston would have to be Shem Creek! I absolutely love the boardwalk that runs along this waterway; it is very unique and invites people to love and appreciate our coastline a little bit more.

HP: Tell us something interesting about yourself that we might not know?

GK: I would love to open up my own coffee cart one day soon to bring together and serve the community and to support causes- like clean water- in a different way.
