2nd Boat Donated to Charleston Waterkeeper

Just last month, Charleston Waterkeeper was given its very first patrol boat by the Criscuolo family.  It was only a matter of time until the trend caught on.

In a recent and unbelievable gesture of kindness, Stede Bonnet of Charleston, SC has donated his family boat to Charleston Waterkeeper.  The donation will serve as our “flagship” vessel, offering a traditional and historical symbol of protection.  The boat is scheduled to take its first patrol sometime next week.  Thanks to Mr. Bonnet, the Royal James, will assist Charleston Waterkeeper in our pursuit to track down sources of pollution and measurably improve the quality of Charleston’s waterways.
